Serdar Dogan a.k.a Dr Rex has been into electronic music since his college years in UK. He went to clubs in Manchester, Liverpool, and London, listening to DJs such as Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Luke Solomon, Kenny Hawkes, Doc Martin, Francois K. After he returned back to Turkey, he started DJing at various clubs in Istanbul, his hometown. Beside producing house-deephouse tracks, he is also very much into 70s disco and spends a lot of time re-editing old disco tracks. He has a regular show at www.dinamo.fm , the major dance music station in Istanbul, every Sunday from 12:00 to 13:00 CET where he plays a selection of funk, disco & house.
