Dr Marigold's Prescription started in 1968 as a backing group for Billy Fury, after the Blue Flames, (which included Georgie Fame) and The Plainsmen. Members: Alan French (keyboards), Bill Friend (bass), Dave Morris (drums), Fred Radley (guitar, vocals). In the early days Dr Marigold did back several artists to include: Bruce Channel (USA), John Walker (Walker brothers) USA, The Flirtations, Madeline Bell, Dominic Grant was not a member of the band, although Dr. Marigold backed him for a while on a promotional tour. They produced two albums. "Pictures Of Life" is their debut from 1969. The second album ''Hello Girl'' did very well.
