Dorena is a post-rock band formed in 2007 by 5 guys spread around the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. The members have played together in various constellations since they were in middle class. Before starting Dorena in the fall of 2007, four of the five members were in a screamo band. When the singer decided to leave, Kim started to play guitar and Simon took over the bass.
