Artist
DOPPELDEKKER was a trumpet player as a kid, playing in a 50 headed orchestra for about his entire childhood. Extreme sports took over at the age of twelve, and there was a ten years break in his musical life, apart from some dj-ing at clubs in town at rather young ages. Grew up in a small town, found out it was too much routine and moved to the city to find some more permanent chaos. Found it, partially. Lived in Amsterdam for about a year, qualified at SAE institute as a multimedia producer with 84%, and threw himself into the Belgian graphic scene, after doing a few social projects as a teacher in Amsterdam. Back in Belgium, worked as an art director on design stuff for Radio Klara, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, DHL, Fortis, Makro, Rumba&co, Depot concerts, the city of Brussels, Telesaurus, White Night, Silenced music, the city of Louvain, Machine, Silo, La rocca and other clubs, while providing design for hundreds or maybe thousands of small gigs. Some big one's are coming up next months... DOPPELDEKKER is an electronic artist, working preferably analog, based on moodswings rather than guidelines.
