DopeAMean (Josephis Wade) is a Southern Style Rap Artist born in Columbus Georgia to a single mother (Lisa D. Ceesay). Fatherless until the age of 8, then homeless at the age of 14-18. At the age of 15 DopeAMean joined the rap group Y.B.E. (Young Black Entrepreneurs and began his rap career. DopeAMean enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 18, one of his only paths to a better life. During his enlistment he did. everything possible to continue making music. Upon his discharge, DopeAMean once again found himself homeless. After serving 8-month in jail in Georgia, DopeAMean moved to Colorado, obtained an Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking, and dropped his first wildly distributed Album Blue Faces.
