Donald J. Boudreaux is an economist, blogger, columnist, and public advocate for free market policies from New Orleans, LA. He currently teaches courses on law and economics at George Mason University (GMU). He served as chairman of the department of economics at GMU from August 2001 to August 2009. He previously served as president of the libertarian think tank 'Foundation for Economic Education', a post he accepted in May 1997.
