Don't Stop Please is a six-piece band from Conway, Arkansas. The sextet plays a mixture of folk-rock, jazz and funk, wrapped up and packaged as pop music. Their energetic live show exhibits a cast of musicians who rotate as-needed to play guitars, drums, keyboards, cello, upright bass, ukulele, banjo, trumpet, saxophone and trombone. Their live set is made up mostly of originals, which range from stomping, upbeat blues-rock and progressive soul, to a sultry bossa nova ballad courtesy of vocalist Anna Horton (which has, in the past year, elicited more than its fair share of drunken catcalls). The band has also been known to cover Neil Young's “Cinnamon Girl” and Stevie Wonder's “Superstition,” if that tells you anything about their range. The band won round two of the Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase. Don't Stop Please is Joel Ludford, Anna Horton, William Krzeszinski, Will King, Nick Caffrey and Robert Gaiser.
