Oldschool '80s thrash-influenced hardcore. "Don't No" started as "Stannic" in Malibu, CA in 1981. The members were Eric Lavasseur, vocals, Stuart Richman, guitar, Matt Chazin, drums, and Phil Carsten, bass. At a "Circle One" show in San Fernando Valley, Phil came up with the name "Don't No" and the logo. Eric left the band and Bruno Granith did vocals for a short time. When Bruno left they found Albee Sacramone who did killer vocals till the end. They played parties and a few clubs around the LA area and in 1983 recorded DON'T NO 1983 DEMO in Venice, CA. Their influences were; Gustav Holst, Discharge, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, The Animals, The Dead Kennedys, Igor Stravinski, Black Flag, Bach, and many others. Stuart and Phil left just after the demo was done. Danny Wallis and Warren Fitzgerald joined. They went on to tour and recorded two vinyls.
