I got my first synth, a Roland SH1000 in 1973. I loved all the sliders and buttons...even though it was monophonic, it was a cool synth. Later I got a Juno 6. It was polyphonic, had an arpeggiator which I synced to a TR 707 drum machine..that was a great setup for the time. Over time I had racks of synths and samplers which were great . When software synths appeared on the market, I was quite intimidated..I got Cakewalk Home Studio first and Reason 2.5 but I didn't get into Reason until about 2 years ago. Now with Reason 4, it's depth and versatility all in one, I can't imagine going back! All the tracks you hear here are solely created in Reason. I have many VST's but so far haven't used them much. The track "Deeper " is a fav of mine..it was my first complete effort using Reason 3 exclusively..I really like vocal oohs and ahhs lol.. "Contact's" melody line was created using my voice processed through the Vocoder in Reason..cool...you can't hear any obvious words but the effect is interesting.. "Inner Rhythmia" took about 85 hours (crazy!) tweaking the vocals using the NNXT and Matrix and pitch bend then getting the delay to sound just right..I like the way this track evolves making changes to drum textures and synth lines....I really like the clarity of this track... "LaunchPad5" was originally going to have a rap track over it but it didn't happen (yet)..I think there still is potential to make this more interesting... "It's Time "- I just shortened to over 4 mins f
