In the movie Howard the Duck, one of the main characters is in an all-girl band named Cherry Bomb. They perform several songs in the movie. The songs were co-written and produced by Thomas Dolby, who presumably also performed part of the music. The vocals are supplied by the Cherry Bomb cast members, with Leah Thompson on lead vocals and Holly Robinson, Dominique Davalos, and Liz Sagal supplying background vocals. Also of note is Joe Walsh playing guitar on two of the tracks, Stevie Wonder playing harmonica on one track, and George Clinton performing background vocals on the title track, which he also co-wrote.
