Dobri & Pitkin are Bulgarian singer-songwriters. Dobri (born Dobrin Atanasov in Gabrovo, Bulgaria) has studied wood-carving and has a degree in Art Pedagogy. Currently, he is a doctoral degree student at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. He has been playing music since high school. He plays the guitar and the harmonica. Pitkin (born Svetozar Kolev in Gabrovo, Bulgaria) studied painting and is currently a freelance artist. He has been a leader and a participant in a number of musical formations mainly in Gabrovo. Dobri & Pitkin have been working together since 1997. They participate in all Bulgarian singer-songwriter festivals. In 2007 they received the award of the Union of Bulgarian Composers at “Today’s Bards” Festival, held during the Holidays of Chudomir in Kazanlak. They have written more than forty songs.
