"Doble Porción" was a boom bap/ rap duo formed by Santiago Marín Villa (Métricas Frías) and Julián Cañas Molina (Mañas Ru-Fino) in 2011 in Medellín, Colombia. At first, they recorded at Moebiuz Studio, a recording studio created by Sebastián Álvarez (Zof Ziro) in 2009. There, they worked on their first group projects, as well as solo projects and collaborations with other artists from the studio, such as the "La Gra$a" project and constant collaborations with Zof-Ziro, Granuja and Crudo Means Raw. In 2017 and 2018, they started exploring new sounds and styles like trap and reggaeton, releasing several singles that reflect their current lives and ideals.
