Mitya Golzman (aka zmitser von holzman) is known for his participation in Klever band and collaboration with such bands as Kira Kira (Iceland) and SBPCh Orhestr (Russia). Now Mitya is making his childhood dream come true with conducting his own little orchestra which performs his musical “miniature” pieces. Three pillars supporting creative energy of the orchestra are minimalism, asceticism and autism. Orchestra has been active since September 2009, however, it has already managed to perform in the best clubs of Saint-Petersburg (Zokol, A2, Tanzy, Cheap Bar, GEZ – 21) and Moscow (Artplay na Yauze, IKRA), as well as participate in several music festivals: AVANTclub Fest 2009 in Moscow (with Yan Tiersen as a headliner), BALTIC MUSIC FEST (2010, Lenekspo – Saint-Petersburg), “Acoustic Techno” (2009, Saint-Petersburg) Searching for the new means of expression musicians work with puppet show and video works. Every performance of the orchestra is accompanied by original video, thoroughly edited to every song the day before concert.
