about

Do-Ré-Mi's name is frequently misspelt as Do-Re-Mi or Do Re Mi. Do-Ré-Mi formed in Sydney, Australia in 1981. They released two 12-inch EPs on the Green label, Standing On Wires in 1982 and The Waiting Room in 1983. They had their first hit in 1985 with a track from their second EP, Man Overboard, re-recorded for their debut album Domestic Harmony, released by Virgin. Do-Ré-Mi released their second album in 1988, The Happiest Place in Town, produced by Martin Rushent. They disbanded at the end of 1988. Deborah Conway launched her solo debut String of Pearls in 1991 and has continued to perform and record since then.
