Do Not Disconnect

Do Not Disconnect was the name of two seperate projects, both curated by Alexander Christopher Hale - a student of Nottingham University. The first and most developed of these two projects was an alternative music radio show on Nottingham University's URN radio station on which Alex was the permanent host and showrunner. The show was often referred to as "Alexander Christopher Hale's DO NOT DISCONNECT" to avoid confusion between the two projects. It was transmitted in 2008/9 on Wednesdays, between the hours of 11pm and 1am, and in 2009/10 on Sundays, between 9pm and 11pm. The show often featured a guest-host alongside Alex, bringing into the studio their own personality and choice of music. The second project that bore the moniker "Do Not Disconnect" was a short-lived musical project which resulted in one eponymous song, later recorded as a demo by Japanese Sleepers.
