Famous Serbian theater actor who worked in Belgrade Drama Theater for several decades before achieving huge popularity on national level as “Rođa Petrović” in TV comedy serial “Pozorište u kući” (“Theater in a house”) that overshadowed everything else he did up to that point in theater (Ibsen, Shakespeare, Pirandello). Besides his acting, he also left a mark as a singer - in 1960 movie “Ljubav i moda” (“Love and fashion”) he introduced swing evergreen “Devojko mala” that was released on EP record and huge hit at the time, later covered some 20 years later by rock group Idoli and recently by Croatian band Cubismo.
