DJ Phantom, real name Paul Eduard Schneider was born in Romania but was raised in Germany and France. After 10 years of experience in music as a DJ in clubs and studios in Europe, he returned to Romania where he started producing music with influences of European decadence in combination with voices and rhythms of the Romanian ethno style. In May 1997 he founded the first special recording studio in Romania for rap dance floor producers - Schneider Productions. DJ Phantom admits that his music suffers from the major influences of bands like Pink Floyd, The Prodigy, Metallica, or Astral Projection.
