Para was introduced to hip-hop in 1988. Having a local scene that was active in all elements he quickly learnt about the history and was instantly hooked. After experimenting with all elements eventually Para decide to focus on Djing. He began by making a series of Mix–tapes which he would hand out locally, these developed over time as Para continually release’s projects and continues to spend unhealthy amounts of time scratching and working at his craft. Para now runs his own label Hotshot Records, on this label he has released several battle weapons as well as cut and paste style mixes and artist albums. His fusion of record snippets from many musical genres is shaped into an innovative and original style, and in the live arena combines musicians within his live DJ sets.
