DJ LEFLARE, Is a former A&R At Cinematic Music Group, Contributing Writer at The Smokers Club & is currently working with Elevator Magazine. Born and raised in Upstate,NY (Albany) Leflare grew up old fashioned listening to everything his parents would be playing in the house at a early age, from the Temptations, Sade, Prince, MJ, and a lot of early 90's hip-hop. Back in high school Leflare took on being an artist along with some of his classmates who are his family now under a different nickname. Gaining local popularity around the district Leflare was able to experience the lifestyle of being a rapper. While rapping with his co-owned independent label Leflare always engineered and mixed down the tracks they recorded. He also hosted all of the songs that were released as "Dj Leflare" but never considered himself to be a real Dj. After he realized that he liked the business and creation process of brands,artist,ext he decided to focus more on becoming the plug for upcoming artist. Sharing his thoughts and strategies on how to execute the right moves in the industry. While working on becoming more of the Dj he always had been. Starting off by getting himself a controller to mix music properly and no longer off his computer. Leflare practiced mostly with himself and would watch how the Dj's around his city would work.
