Evgeny Rudin was born on April 6, 1972 in Apatity. In general, the Murmansk region has give many famous personalities: avant-garde artist Sergey Kuryokhin , singer Elena Vaenga , TV presenter Andrey Malakhov , adult film star Elena Berkova . Groove's mom worked in a restaurant, and dad was an entertainer - he performed with Yuri Nikulin and Boris Brunov. The future musician went to the same kindergarten and studied at school number 6 in the same class with Andrei Malakhov. After leaving school, our hero first studied at a music school in Murmansk, and then entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory in vocal class. However, the opera career of Evgeny Rudin did not take place. He dropped out and started his career as a DJ in the early 90s. DJ Groove did not immediately become a DJ. He followed his dream gradually - he began to write dance music, gained experience from foreign colleagues. How DJ Grove shot in 1996 thanks to the track “Happiness exists” (“There is happiness, it cannot but be”). In it, he used samples with the voices of the first president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev and his wife Raisa Maksimovna. It was a project for the 1996 elections, in which Gorbachev also took part. The Gorbachevs spoke pre-prepared phrases on the recorder, Groove chose the most suitable ones and put them on the music.
