Artist
Cool-C started DJing in 2005 and has since played around DFW in many clubs and bars, most recently The Cavern, Tribecca, and Club Nine. Cool-C’s musical journey did not start in 2005 however; it began in 1999 as guitar player and singer for The Bored-Agains. The Bored-Agains spent time playing at various clubs and bars around DFW as well as touring around Texas with Link 80 and Crash 81 before disbanding in 2002. Cool-C’s musical taste is eclectic and his mixing style reflects that. Hip-hop is what drew him to DJing but he has been known to play funk, soul, rock, 80s, mashups and hip-hop all in the same set. In September 2008 Cool-C’s debut EP “The Beginning of the End” was digitally released on Moose Tracks. In early 2009, Cool-C spent time as a founding Resident DJ for Party934.com during their launch. Currently Cool-C can be seen in Artist Magazine as a member of their Shadow DJs as well regularly playing at The Cavern and around DFW.
