DJ Blazita aka “The Hottest Chic in the Game!” is DJing in popular venues throughout New York City and has taken over other cities as well as internationally. She spins an open format including top 40, hip hop, latin, house, and 80s-90s classics. Having been recognized as one of the most versatile in the music industry she recently won the title of both UMA “DJ of the Year 2010″ and Latin Mixx “Best Female DJ 2010″. Blazita was also featured this year as a DJ on HOT 97 The Takeover with DJ Funkmaster Flex. Having a great ear for music and the ability to control crowds by mixing and dropping hot records at the perfect time are what make DJ Blazita a powerful force at any event. Blazita originally started DJing while attending Penn State University – rated the number 1 party school for several years. Starting off as a radio personality in high school and then in college, she frequently hosted freestyle battles, interviewed special guests, and then later began spinning mix shows. Her interest in music and radio led her to learn how to use turntables. After years of practice, Blazita began rocking private parties, clubs and other special events. Not only can Blazita entertain any crowd, she displays her talents on the 1′s & 2′s in every way possible via mix tapes, clubs, and radio.
