Diversion Sound is an alternative rock band from Sunnyvale, CA. It consists of Andrew Charlton on vocals and guitar, Derek Lau on drums, and Kellen Steffen on bass. The group has existed in its current form for six months as of April 2010, but the three have been friends since second grade. Diversion Sound plays regularly at venues in the San Diego area is in the process of recording their first full-length album. Several of the trio's greatest influences include Mutemath, Radiohead, From Monument to Masses, and Incubus.
