Artist
Disney Violence was assembled in Miami, FL by Julio Najara, Abel Folgar, Juan Manuel Rotulo, Mike Perez, Chris Marquis and Jose Flores. That line-up performed with Spazz , Assuck, Combat Wounded Veteran and Cavity at Cheers in 1997, though they were billed at the time as "Enclave." With the name changed, Chris and Jose would leave and be replaced by Mike Borras who at the time ran Smooth Lips Records, a pretty cool Miami record label. He'd then be replaced by John Carriger after he split from Swivel Stick. This line-up performed many shows throughout South Florida and shared the stage with bands like Argentina's Fun People, Los Crudos, Cavity, Recluse DNA and many more. They recorded and album's worth of material with Steve Heritage but that never came to light. However, a split 7" with Secret Service did come out on Goodbye Blue Skies Records as well as a track on one of Slap-a-Ham's Bleaurgh Music War compilations. Currently, Juan Manuel and Jose Flores perform in The Getback. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
