It all began in Austria. After having listened to all kinds of electronic music for years, Jakob started DJing at private parties back in 2007, quickly making himself a name as a skilled and open-minded DJ. Soon, he was playing at local events, supporting hiphop acts and doing aftershow parties for rock and indie bands. It was about that time when he bought his first synthesizer, a Korg TR 88 workstation. Having always been a fan of Austrian live electro act Bunny Lake, Jakob decided to choose their track "Disco Demons" as his official artist name. One year later, "Disco Demons" could be read on flyers next to names such as Hot Pink Delorean (US), Underhall (F), Saint Pauli (GER), Dirty Disco Youth (GER) and Parov Stelar (AUT) A.G.Trio (AUT), playing at Austria's and Switzerland's hottest venues, including Fluc (Vienna, AUT), Casineum (Luzern, CH), the Warehouse club (St. Pölten, AUT) and various other clubs all over Austria. http://www.myspace.com/discodemonsmusic User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
