Dinosaur 88 is a synthpop, electronic, chiptune music duo formed in Guatemala, Guatemala City , and consisting of Guatemalan musicians Luis Alonso and Sebas Méndez, originally members of the band Los Tiros. Under the name Dinosaur 88, they present a mix of electronic sounds, influenced by the Chiptune music and 80's synthesizers. One of the most representative characteristics of the duo is the use of the acoustic drums in the rhythmic base of the songs, which fills them with energy, while the synthesizers guide the melody with nostalgia. Giant Ghosts (2016) In October 17, 2016 Dinosaur 88 released Giant Ghost on their bandcamp page. This was their first album, which includes 7 songs that transport the listener to a videogame of action and nostalgia. 305092 Years and Giants were the first two singles and have their respective videos on their Youtube Channel.
