The word (diligent)-- to be persevering and hard-working --describes the band perfectly. Writing, playing, engineering, and producing all of its own material can be a daunting task for some artists, but Dilidjent revels in it. Dilidjent was formed in the town of Peoria, Arizona, in late 2009 by guitarist/engineer/producer Patrick Neve and vocalist Nick Laconte. The band is currently working on a full-length album with a scheduled release sometime in 2011. The band is still in the very early stages of sculpting its sound and is in no rush to find more musicians quite yet, although having a full line-up of like-minded machines is a likely goal.
