Dil Bole Hadippa! (Hindi: दिल बोले हड़प्पा , Punjabi: ਦਿਲ ਬੋਲੇ ਹਦਿਪ੍ਪਾ , English: Heart Says Hurrah!) is a 2009 Bollywood film directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. It stars Rani Mukerji and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles in the story about a young woman who pretends to be a man to join an all-male cricket team, with Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra in supporting roles.[1] The film released on 18 September 2009.[2] The film is loosely inspired from 2006 Hollywood film She's the Man, which is further adapted from Shakespeare's play Twelfth Night. Synopsis The film tells the story of the young woman Veera (Rani Mukerji), who lives in a small village but dreams of playing cricket in the big league. She is mad about Sachin Tendulkar and is herself extremely talented in the game.[3].
