Dii Minores is a Swedish metal band, established in 2003 and remained active through 2006. During this period they recorded a couple of demos and played a lot local gigs before going on hiatus that would last up until the end of 2018. The band started playing again with an almost intact line up. Joined by a new lead guitarist in the beginning of 2019. Dii Minores has released an EP and are now producing a full length album. The album will be released soon. "Dii Minores" is latin for "The lower/lesser Gods" which is suitable for an underground and independent band. They are also accompanied by their mascot "Hellmer" the patron of all underdogs! The musical influences of Dii Minores are vast. But if you were to put the genres into words, the result would be something like melodic deathened/blackened/doomemened old school heavy metal.
