Digita'lis/Phlox was formed in 1999 by high school friends Erich Ward and Shawn Shackelford. More recently, Shawn is known for contributing to Pear Eyes with his wife Jen, and for his solo projects RENEGADE ANDROID and unseelie. Digita'lis/Phlox has only one release with GO Zombie Records, titled "The Drummondii Days". This free mp3 album is a collection of abstract broken-beat rhythms, 80's analog synth manipulations, and heavy compression techniques for a unique lo-fi quality. This release includes the classic track, "A Shape of Strange Faith", its remix by The Flashbulb, and our take on something called "The P1 Project".
