Dietmar Garn belongs to the new generation of international renowned guitarists. He studied classical guitar with Prof. T. Sasaki at the Musikhochschule Koeln/Aachen and with M. Troester at the Musikakademie Kassel and electric-guitar at the Munich-Guitar-Institute MGI. Concerts brought him several times to asia and australia and he toured in gemany and other european countries. He was awarded in many international guitar-competitions worldwide. Awards: -1st prize "43rd Tokyo International Guitar-Competition 2000" -1st prize and absolute winner " International Music-Competition Anemos Rome 2002" -2nd prize "Hong Kong International Guitar Competition 2002" -2nd prize "Australian Guitar Competition Newcastle 2002" -1st prize and absolute winner "International Music Competition Rovere d..Oro Imperia/Italy 2004" -1st prize "European Guitar Competition Gorizia 2004" Italy Finalist in the guitar-competitions Viareggio/Italy , Printemps de la Guitare/Belgium, Velez-Malaga/Spain, Open-Strings Osnabrueck/Germany and semifinalist GFA Columbus/Georgia USA. Dietmar Garn has an endorsement contract with yamaha classical guitar/japan and with framus guitars/germany. He recorded for television and broadcasting in and out of germany.
