One-man project by Christian Pfluger from Switzerland in 1981 and still active today. He started self-recording and self-releasing tapes in the 80s in small runs and has only in the 2010s and 20s started getting more recognition with various labels releasing compilations of his large catalogue of past work. His sound is often lo-fi and crosses many genres often poppy or folky featuring a pallet of instruments that are easy to picture in a home studio like drums machines, acoustic and electric guitars, synths, keyboards, and samplers. Sonically the music could be described as psychedelic folk or minimal synth or even pop whereas some tapes lean more towards industrial noise or ambient. Also a comic artist and writer the lyrics sometime reference his fantasy worlds and characters. Often sweet or cute sounding using playful simple melodies but juxtaposing those sounds with noisey elements and experimental approaches. Its an early bedroom music and deeply DIY.
