Die Spitz is an all-female punk band from Austin, Texas, featuring members Ava Schrobilgen, Chloe (de) St. Aubin, Ellie Livingston and Kate Halter. The musicians began playing together after meeting through local creative circles, developing a shared interest in loud, abrasive guitar music and a straightforward, do-it-yourself approach. The group is known for an energetic live presence, characterized by high volume, chaotic pacing. Their sound blends punk, grunge and noise-rock influences, often described as gritty, aggressive and unpolished. Die Spitz has released multiple recordings, helping them build a following beyond their home city. Their debut album, Something to Consume, produced by Will Yip and released through Third Man Records.
