The band "Die Llama" from Monchengladbach (near Dusseldorf) was founded in 2001 and since then terrorized numerous stages throughout Western Germany. Their musical style is rooted in guitar rock and doesn’t shy away from any subcategory of this genre – sometimes loud and aggressive, with references to metal and hardcore, in other moments quiet and melodic with alternative and indie rock influences, but always preserving a progressive and ambitious touch to their tunes. After their first 8 track EP in summer 2003, Die Llama released their debut full-length album "Ghostwriters" in February 2005.
