The Punk, Oi, Metal, HC- and Skaband «Die Freilandkühe» formed in 2002 in Basel, CH. Up to now, they haven't played outside Switzerland. The Band currently has 4 Members: David (Drums), Jonas (Bass/Vocals), Shane (Guitar/Vocals) and Ivo (Guitar), who took the place of Jan in December 2010. Although the Band mainly adresses Skins and Punks, their music is also enjoyed by other people and subcultures too. The reason for this is the musical diversity. The band stands against political extremism and fascism, as many of the lyrics state. The Band often appears with a humorous approach, but most of their music and lyrics are actually quite serious. After the unreleased Live-CD (2005), they produced an EP in 2007 called «Eine kleine Schlachtmusik». The first real studio album «Grosses Kino» was released in December 2009.
