The "Brotzeit-Polka" (also known by its signature lyric, "Mach ma Brotzeit") is the biggest hit Die 3 Lustigen Moosacher ever had. The group, made up of Hansi Doering, Schorschi Niedermeyer and Waggi Schneider, was a popular Munich-based folk music and comedy act. Their name translates as "the Three Funny Guys from Moosach," a Munich neighborhood, although only Waggi Schneider actually came from Moosach. This song is a celebration of Brotzeit (literally: bread time) which refers to a workingman's 10 a.m. break. It was a hit in Bavaria in the early 1960s.
