Dick Raaijmakers, who also recorded as Kid Baltan, was born September, 1 in 1930 in Maastricht. He studied piano at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. 1954 - 1960 Philips NV in the field of electro-acoustics. 1960 - 1962 Research assistant at the State University in Utrecht 1963 - 1966 worked in his own studio for electronic music in The Hague, together with Jan Boerman. 1966 - 1995 taught Contemporary and Electronic Music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
