Diary of a POET* Birthplace: Brooklyn, New York Raised: Houston, Texas 2nd Home: Los Angeles, California www.myspace.com/diaryofpoet Diary of POET* started her career as a radio announcer in Houston, Texas and continued in Los Angeles working at Stevie Wonder owned station, KJLH as part of the morning show. She has worked as a concert and comedy promoter in Los Angeles. She has been responsible for helping launch many careers of comedians and artists. Her funnest accomplishment was getting a new female group signed to A&M at the time, "For Real" listened to by Stevie Wonder. The group not only recorded a song for his "Conversation Peace" CD, but was part of his World Tour. She has worked in many other type jobs including as a longshore worker for the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach. She has been getting the interest of many entertainment power shakers that have been introduced to her through Poetry Over Music. Poetry Over Music is an organization founded by artists and for artists. To provide an alternative way to get heard. Poetry Over Music members reach across the world and this is Diary of a POET* Sophmore year with being a part of their compilation CD.
