Dexter poindexter is a songwriter from the north west suburbs of Chicago. Although a young musician he has been said to play more like a veteran; once even compaired to as an "infant Belle and Sebastian." His 2009 release on London's Wee Pop Records landed him a number six spot on The Indietracks list of best eps of 2009. other albums- Silver Springs - february self titled - unreleased The Adventure Ep Dexter poindexter Is Very talented... Great Music For Sunny Weather. I wouldn't compare Dexter to Belle And Sebastian But he does incorporate many layers of Instrumentation not unlike Belle And Sebastian just employs them in different mannerisms generally has jangley guitar driven tracks (which i love).
