Devon Hendryx (previously stylized as DéVon Hendryx) is the previous music alias of musician JPEGMAFIA, taking inspiration from the cloud rap and chillwave scenes. Over the years, Devon has released projects on his Bandcamp page like THE GHOST~POP TAPE and DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS. After THE GHOST~POP TAPE, Devon stopped releasing music under this alias and contemplated new ones, eventually re-releasing his last album as "Ben Yuddha" and "Darkskin Manson". 2 years later, he settled on a new name and started over as JPEGMAFIA, with the communist slow jams mixtape. In 2022, an anonymous user made an archive page with Devon Hendryx's songs, which weren't on streaming services at the time. JPEGMAFIA himself mentioned on Twitter at the time of the archive page going public that he planned to remaster the albums that he released under this alias and release them on streaming services officially, as of 2025, he has remastered his 2013 album THE GHOST~POP TAPE and re-uploaded DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS, JOECHILLWORLD and Generation Y.
