Devin Carroll is a strictly amateur piano player of interest mainly to people who know him. He has three albums so far. Devin Plays Devin features five piano compositions ranging from ragtime to boogie to modernist. Devin Plays Classic Blues is early twentieth century numbers by such composers as W.C. Handy and Shelton Brooks. Songs Grandma Margaret Used to Play has some ragtime, novelty, and other music which were favorites of Margaret Sanborn. He also plays ragtime, boogey woogey, classical, and other genres of music, and hopes to record some of these and make them available to friends. Devin was born on April 30, 1953, and lives in Fresno, California. He is an agricultural entomologist, with a Ph.D. from University of California at Riverside.
