Devilz Nite is an annual "Horrorcore / Wickedshit" compilation created by Menacide in 2003. The Compilation was created as a free download to give back to the fans of the genre. It is the first wicked underground compilation series. Each Year usually at the beginning of August, the organizer(s) begin accepting submissions for the compilation and a cover art contest is also held. The compilation was named by Menacide after the Detroit city and surrounding area's colloquial term for the night before Halloween on October 30th. Historically this night was known as Devil's Night because of the chaos and destruction that ensues across the city. People have tried to rename the night as Angel's Night in an attempt to reverse the effects. Every year, the wicked undergrounds finest come together to compile the first, foremost, and leading horrorcore compilation; the DEVILZ NITE series.
