Deutscher Abschaum were a short-lived post-punk band from Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany who were active in the early 1980s. The band soon changed their name to Pervers and released several homemade tapes which were distributed throughout Germany before recording two 7inch EP's before disbanding in 1989. The band was formed by teenagers GitZe (Brigitte Enzler, now performing under the name Beta Evers), Vanessa Violence and Gaby R. Later the band included a male member named Ingo Reidl, but his stint in th eband was shortlived. Deutscher Abschaum were initially inspired by such bands as: Malaria!, Östro 430, Carambolage, X-mal Deutschland, and Die Tödliche Doris.
