Deus Irae is a Progressive Metal band from Caracas, Venezuela. Formed in November 2002, the group's line-up includes guitarist Alex Irae, guitarist David Irae and bassist Gabriel Irae. They were active, performing in the Caracas underground scene, between 2002 and 2009. To date, the band has released two EPs: Demo 2004 and Demo 2007. Due to the worsening of the Venezuela political an economic situation, the band entered in a 10 years long hiatus, as the members relocated to Europe. In 2020 they made available their back catalogue via the main music streaming services and started working again in new music. Deus Irae came from Latin and it means The wrath of God.
