From the depths of a dingy Toronto basement apartment, The Michael Parks took shape throughout 2004 and 2005. By the time New Years '06 hit, there were nearly 30 songs to comb through. The Michael Parks rose from the ashes- subtle, softer, and more slick than their 2003 outing, The Night We Ate the Cake.
