Hailing from Detroit, MI; Destroy The Moon formed in early 2009 ready to join the metal scene with an arsenal of varying time signatures, rapid tempo changes, and a progressive song structure. After releasing their first EP 'Mesozoic' and undergoing a slight lineup change in late 2010 the band began focusing on writing songs which focused on what the new members had to offer. Heavier and more technical than ever before, Destroy The Moon was no more, and Red Runs East was born. Destroy The Moon was Brett Valuet on lead vocals, Bill Davis on drums, Justin Lambert and Matt Fisher on guitar, and Adam Fisher on bass.
