Mall emo/emo pop from Walden, NY. Destroy Something Beautiful is an Emo Pop Punk band out of Newburgh, NY was originally formed as a garage band by bass player Zubin and Guitar player Pickel. After fooling around, and trying out different members the two founding members decided to take music more serious and enlisted the drumming abilities of former 2nd Attempt Bass Player Dan Miccio. Once Dan enlisted his services to the group (and his house) the next piece of the puzzle was guitar player Rob Veloche. Rob came into the group and the melodic points of the band seemed to gel. The last piece of the puzzle came from a Matt Elia, who was new to being in a punk band. Once all five of these guys met though, it seemed to just click, and from then on the band became known as WoodroW. Throughout the summer of 2003 WoodroW toured many venues playing shows to get their music out. But soon after, they decided to become even more serious with their writing. Their style of music changed along with their name. Destroy Something Beautiful was born. Destroy Something Beautiful has now gone on to record their Debut Self Titled E.P. at Madd Notes studios as well as their second E.P. And A Moment is the Most We Could Expect From Perfection. Together these guys bring an intriguing sense of sound and fun to the stage and make music the way it should be.
