Designerthumbs (real name Damion O'Brien) is an electronic artist from Manchester, UK, who mixes electronica with anything from ambient, trip-hop, DnB, laid-back electronica/chilled (dark and light vibe), groove, atmosphere with live guitar and bass, and vocals. Under the moniker d-a-m, O'Brien released the album 'Citizen Schizo', which was available on mp3.com in 2001. He has music featured in films, games, magazines, adverts and radio with releases on various labels worldwide. He is currently producing other electronica artists, but also writes as Cassini Division (club-based electronica) & moetucker (guitar/electronica crossover project). Currently, Designerthumbs is working on his 13th album while teaching Electronic Music Production at The School of Sound Recording in Manchester.
