Design 19 was a short lived nu metal band, formed in 1999 in Vaasa, Finland. Their only release was Trigger, released in 2002. The band's members consisted of Eeka Mäkynen for vocals, Thomas Backman and Sami Sillanpää for guitars, Martti Lindholm for keyboard and vocals, Niko Leminen for drums, and Mika Häkki for bass, who is also known for playing in Monolord and Rotten Sound.
