Desadaptados is the first punk band from Guatemala. They started playing live in 1999 playing street punk and oi! They are known for their antifascist ideals and including in their musical repertoir some ska and rocksteady beats. They were the first latino punk band to tour Central America and they played CBGB and ABC-No Rio back in 2002. There is another punk band called Desadaptadoz by this name originally from Colombia.
